"Junior" Gotti Arrested on Murder Conspiracy Charges

Gambino family boss "Junior" Gotti (son of John "Johnny Boy" Gotti who died in prison in 2002) has been arrested in New York on murder conspiracy charges stemming from an investigation into 3 murders in Florida. Read More for my write up on some of the families currently in operation in the U.S. I will use actual mob nicknames as often as possible.

Gotti's arrest is the latest in the steadily declining life of the mob. Philadelphia boss Joe "Skinny Joey" Merlino is currently doing time for racketeering charges leaving the family in the hands of Joseph "Uncle Joe" Ligambi. By many accounts, Uncle Joe is doing so well that he will remain boss when Skinny Joey is released from prison in 2011.

The famous Chicago Outfit, once run by Al "Scarface" Capone is currently run by John "No Nose" DiFronzo who regained the leadership of the family after acting boss James "Little Jimmy" Marcello was convicted of murder and racketeering charges in 2007.

Note: This post has NOTHING to do with the jersey delay or any previous talk of misdeeds.

If you have any questions an associate of mine would like to fit you for a new pair of shoes. Meet him at a pier under the 14th street bridge in D.C. Tell him "Ski" sent you.
