Greetings West Potomac Ruggers and other readers, Im Ryan, one of the fall rookies, and one of the new contributors to the blog; some of you I havent met yet, so I hope we do so in the future. West Pot has been great to me; I have been looking for a club like this since moving to the area, you are a great group of guys, its been a blast. I look forward to lots of wins and lots of Pabsts down the road.
Anyway, on to my post...
My first post is going to be about that Femme Fatale of the "squared circle"; Gina Carano. As many of you know Mixed Martial Arts is exploding in popularity all over the United States; it features a broad spectrum of weight classes, from Featherweight(Andy) all the way up to Super-heavyweight(me) annnnd more importantly it has a Women's division, and that division is currently under the well manicured thumb of Gina Carano
Not only is Gina Carano beautiful; she can kick serious ass, she currently holds the Women's title in the soon to be defunct Elite XC(way to go Kimbo). She is 5'8" 141lbs of pure, good-looking American anger. Carano has pretty much given every single woman in MMA and in organized Muy Thai the beat-down, and after this weekend it was pretty much assumed that she is going to square off against Kris Cyborg, the Brazilian beast who is too ugly to show on this blog...it will only sully West Pot's perfect name. Here is footage of Cyborg fighting- You know what, find it on your own...I cant bear to look at her. Back to Carano, she also played "Crush" on the incredibly stupid revitilization of American Gladiators, and will be playing the character Natasha in Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3(SCHWING!!!!).
